Bible Service 2019

This year, Tiger class chose to retell the story of Zacchaeus the Tax collector as part of their Bible Service. When Jesus went to his house, Zacchaeus admitted that he had collected more tax than he should have done and said he was really sorry for what he had done.  Jesus forgave him and said, "Today salvation has come to this house."

The whole school joined Tiger class to sing 'Count on Me', 'If I were a butterfly' and 'Our Father' before Margaret Williams presented each child with their own bible.

During the service, Margaret shared the largest and heaviest bible in Christchurch as well as a tiny match box sized bible-saying bibles come in all sizes and languages and that the Lion First Bible was a perfect size for them.
