No Pens Day

In association with Dyslexia Friendly Week we took part in a  'No pens Day'.  This meant all children and adults were engaged in activities that did not require writing! We spent the day exploring other ways to learn such as hot seating some of the passengers on SS Great Britain, playing maths games, making and baking tricky times table biscuits, debating,  painting, storytelling, building bridges like Brunel and designing, making and testing boats.

To celebrate this special day,we all came to school dressed in something green-a green T-shirt or green trouser or a green dress/skirt or green tights or a jumper.

Unfortunately, the administrative staff only managed to survive without using a pen until 11:30am!
