Oxenwood

Polar Bear class, alongside Miss Day, Ms Kamber and Mrs Watts spent three days and two nights at Oxenwood. 

After unpacking their cases, pillows and sleeping bags into their bedrooms,  they started building their shelters in the shade of the woods. They then learnt how to light a fire from flint and cooked bread dough, eggs in a potato on an open fire. Just as it was about to get dark (which was quite late) they began their Spooky Walk which, according to the children, was quite scary.

The next day was an active one-watersports, archery and climbing. The evening entertainment was a game of Bingo and a quiz. 

After a good night's sleep, the morning session was spent playing a mini Olympics-I wonder which team managed to pull the box over the line?
