Midday Supervisory Assistants

King William Street CE Primary School is looking for two Mid-Day Supervisory Assistants to join the existing team at this very popular school. The role would involve supervision of the children over the lunchtime in the hall and in the playground, encouraging good quality active play and behaviour as well as dealing with accidents that may occur.

If you think you have the necessary skills and experience and would like to work in a small team where you will be well supported we would like to hear from you. All appointments will be subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS clearances and references, which will be obtained prior to appointment. To comply with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1998 (as amended by S147 of the Nationality and Immigration and Asylum Act 2002) all prospective employees will be required to supply evidence of eligibility to work in the UK will be required at the time of interview. Staff must work in accordance with the South West Child Protection procedures and Child Protection/Safeguarding Policy, and understand their role within that Policy.

Contract: Permanent and part time

Hours: 6 ¼ hours per week (Monday-Thursday 1 ¼ hours per day from 12:00-1:15pm and Friday 12:00-1:00pm) Term time only

Salary: Grade J 1-3 from £7:57/hour
