Fifteen men on a dead man's chest, Yo,ho,ho and a bottle of rum.
The pirates gather together waiting for Long John Silver who wants a proper crew to sail with him to find Captain Flint's treasure.
But before they can set sail they need Flint's map, which Billy Bones has got.
Blind Pew knows where Billy Bones is so he heads to The Admiral Benbow Inn to find him whilst Long John Silver and George Merry get the crew into shape.
Blind Pew gives Billy Bones the Black Spot, causing Billy Bones to collapse. Billy Bones gives Jim Hawkins the key to his sea chest and then dies.
Jim takes the map of Treasure Island from the chest and exit The Admiral Benbow Inn as the pirates arrive.
The pirates find Billy Bones dead on the floor. Israel Hands and Long John Silver open the unlocked treasure chest and find Flint's map has gone. Blind Pew suggests that the pirates follow Jim as he has taken the treasure map. The pirates go after him. Find the boy! Hunt 'im down! Find the boy! He's got the map!
Meanwhile the good guys arrive at The Admiral Benbow Inn and Jim shows them the map. They make plans, to go in search of the treasure starting with Squire Trelawney asking Long John Silver, who unbeknown to him is a pirate, to pick a crew. Jim goes along as cabin boy.
The Hispaniola sets sail. Hidden behind a barrell Jim overhears Long John Silver planning a mutiny. Jim rushes to tell Squire Trelawney what he has heard and they plan for Jim to follow the pirates when they land on shore.
Having arrived at Treasure Island, everyone goes ashore. Jim tries to follow the pirates but soon loses track when he meets an eccentric marooned pirate called Benn Gunn.
Ben is worried when Jim mentions Long John Silver but agrees to help Jim defeat the pirates in exchange for his passage home. Ben tells Jim about his rowing boat which is hidden which he can use ioof he wants to.
Hearing gunfire, Jim runs to the stickade where the pirates are attacking the good guys.
Long John Silver tries to bargain with Captain Smollett-the map for their lives-but no deal is made so the pirates retreat and re-arm.
Jim gets Benn Gunn's boat and returns to the Hispaniola and manages to take control of the ship from Israel Hands who was in charge. He steers the ship to Treasure Island but is captured by the pirates.
Long John Silver protects Jim from the pirates by doing a quiet deal with him but the pirates decide they have lost confidence in him as a a captain.

Long John Silver keeps the pirates on his side as somehow he has managed to get Flint's map from the good guys.
The pirates go in search of the treasure but are terrifies when they find a skeleton and hear a ghost. They begin digging on the spot where the treasure has been buried and soon discover the treasure has gone. They turn angrily on Long John Silver and Jim.
The good guys come to their rescue and chase the pirates away. The treasure chest is carried to Jim and the biggest share is given to Jim as he found the map.
As the Hispaniola prepares to set sail, the crew notice that Long John Silver is missing. Ben Gunn explains that he helped him escape as everyone is better off without him.
As the ship raises the anchor, a handful of pirates surrender to Captain Smollett and earn their passage home.
