Leopard class at Plas Pencelli

Leopards arrived safely at Plas Pencelli. After unloading the coach, they carried their cases and bags to the house, settled into their rooms and successfully made their beds.

First activity was an adventure walk.

After dinner, everyone got dressed ready for the evening orienteering activity. This was a lot of fun even if a little wet!

Most children slept well. After breakfast it was time to prepare for todays activities: one group climbing and one group canoeing.

The evening was spent tackling Dingle Descent-with everyone finding themselves out of their comfort zone.

Feeling tired, staff and children slipped into bed and to sleep.

A good nights sleep was had by all with many getting up later this morning. Activities for today include either climbing or caving.

Whilst some crawled on their hands and knees, and sometimes their tummy under the ground...

some bouldered, stretched and gripped their way up the quarry face all the way to the top.

In the damp and dark, the cavers squeezed through the letterbox and crawled through the washing machine on their hands, knees, tummies and elbows. But all of them had 'the best day yet!'

The canoeists, on the other hand, managed to laugh and giggle their way along the canal.

By the end of the day, all of the children in both groups finished their respective activities very, very wet.

After a shower and supper, the children enjoyed their last evening which involved problem solving and were looking forward to gorge walking tomorrow morning before heading home.
