Polar Bear Victorian Sparkling Start
To launch our topic on The Victorians, we experienced school life in Victorian times.
At the beginning of each day, the girls lined up one behind the other.
Before we entered the school, we placed a 1d in the pot.
The monitor wore a red sash ang gave out the equipment to everyone. The monitors sat on the end of the row of seats.
We wrote using chalk on a slate. We had to copy from the board.
The girls learnt how to wash and tidy.
The boys learnt how to look after the bee hives.
We had to read aloud together from a book
After lighting the candle, we used a snuffler to de light the candle flame.
